Kimberly J. Goss, RAS
President
Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Texas at Austin. She became a Registered Accessibility Specialist in 1997 before founding Access by Design in 2001. In addition to her expertise in Texas, Kim has consulted on hundreds of projects across the nation, including hotels and casinos, sports arenas and stadiums, multifamily and mixed-use developments, office buildings, medical care facilities, civic projects, parks, and federal projects. She is a Charter Member and Past President of the Accessibility Professionals Association (APA).
Jimmy Bell, RAS
Vice President
Jimmy has been a Registered Accessibility Specialist since 1998 and leads the Access by Design team of inspectors. Jimmy has more than 15 years of experience in commercial construction and travels to projects across the nation performing inspections, assessments, and construction administration services. He works regularly on all project types, including hotels, multifamily and mixed-use developments, medical care facilities, office buildings, sports arenas and stadiums, to name a few. Jimmy is a Charter Member of the Accessibility Professionals Association (APA).
Julie McVicker
Office Manager
Julie joined the Access by Design team in 2007. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University and has a background in insurance. Julie coordinates the intake of all projects, oversees project registrations, and manages accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Elizabeth Hogue, RAS
Elizabeth has been a Registered Accessibility Specialist since 2009. She received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Auburn University and has over 13 years of experience in commercial architecture as well as 2 years of experience in specification writing. Elizabeth has performed hundreds of plan reviews for projects across the nation, including multifamily and mixed-use developments, medical care facilities, office buildings, retail establishments, civic projects, and parks.
Trey Crook, RAS
Trey holds a BFA in Interior Design from the University of North Texas and a Master of Architecture from the University of Houston. Before joining our team in 2016, Trey served as project architect and coordinator on hotel resorts and commercial and medical care projects for 13 years. Trey performs plan reviews and inspections throughout Texas.
Lori Chandler, RAS
Lori has 30 years of experience in architectural, MEP and civil/landscape drafting and design. A Registered Accessibility Specialist since 2015, she joined the Access by Design team in 2018. Lori performs plan reviews and inspections throughout Texas.
Amelia Goss
ICC Accessibility Inspector / Plans Examiner
Amelia graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts and earned her ICC Accessibility Inspector/ Plans Examiner certification in 2022. A member of the Access by Design team since 2020, Amelia performs plan reviews and has worked on multiple Title II facility assessment projects.
